The Newington Amateur Radio League is a special service club which maintains the 145.450 W1AW and 70 cm W1OKY repeaters and performs Public Service. Members come from all over the state of Connecticut. Money raised from this event is used for general expenses of the club throughout the year and for a scholarship to a qualifying student.
NARL meets the first Monday of every month except when that falls on a holiday. General Membership Meetings are 7:00 PM at the Newington Senior Center on Cedar Street, and they are open to the public.
The Board of Directors meets as announced on the www.narl.net web site and by email.
NARL is an affiliate club of the ARRL, the American Radio Relay League.

o Monthly meetings at the Newington Senior Center, some with guest speakers

o Workshops for building ham-related projects
o Weekly nets on the W1AW and W1OKY repeaters
Including the new SWAP NET at 8 pm Thursdays
o Free classes for FCC Amateur Radio licenses
