Vendor Info for 2012

The NARL Hamfest will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012.  This is the last weekend before ARRL Field Day.

THE RULES FOR VENDORS

Fees:

  • $10 per indoor 8-foot table. Includes 1 admission. Contact Steve Ewald
  • WV1X@arrl.org to reserve.
  • $10 per outdoor standard parking space behind St. Mary's School. No reservations, first come, first served.

 Hours:

  • Indoor Vendor setup:  Saturday, June 16 6am.  NOTE: there MAY NOT be a Friday night set up this year, due to a possible conflict with an 8th grade graduation ceremony.  This will be determined by the number of snow days required during the winter season, so check this site as the day of the hamfest approaches.
  • Outdoor flea market vendors: arrive and set up beginning Saturday 6 am. PLEASE: early admittance is for SELLERS ONLY to allow time to drive in and set up.  Anyone admitted as a vendor is expected to leave their vehicle in place during the show.  If you are coming to buy only, please do NOT try to park in the vendor area. Buyers will not be admitted until 8 am, after all vehicles in the vendor area are parked.

Rules:  

Do not leave merchandise or trash behind. Your area must be left broom-clean.  You may not deposit trade  goods or packing materials in the St. Mary's trash bins or dumpster.

For your convenience, NARL will supply a portable ramp to help vendors wheel goods to the indoor gymnasium over the south side door steps.

Please, no parking overnight.  If arriving early from out of state, we suggest the interstate rest stops in Southington (I-84, eastbound past exit 28) or

These rest stops have restrooms, snacks, and are patrolled by the state police.  

There are no overnight restroom facilities at St. Marys school, the facilities will be locked from 8 pm Friday to 6 am Saturday.

Official show hours: 8 am to 2 pm.

Vendors must leave space broom-clean by 3 pm
